Building on the success of Valve’s Steam Deck, PlaytronOS, a new Linux-based gaming OS backed by Square Enix, is setting itself apart by integrating multiple gaming platforms. Beyond Steam, PlaytronOS supports popular clients like GOG and Epic Games. Its first alpha release has already been tested on a variety of handheld gaming devices, including the AYANEO 2 and ASUS ROG Ally.
