Epic Games has launched a new mobile store, bringing popular titles such as Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, and Fall Guys Mobile to iOS and Android devices. The launch on iOS is initially limited to the EU, following the implementation of the Digital Markets Act which mandates Apple to support third-party app stores. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney expressed gratitude to the EU for its role in enabling this launch and for pressuring tech giants like Apple and Google to foster fair competition. Epic Games aims to achieve 100 million new net installs on iOS and Android by the end of 2024.
